Here are the answers to the most frequently asked question:

> I can't upload my work.
> The image files for my work are too big.  
> I can't sign in.
> I would like to modify my account and/or the works that I submitted.

> I don't know how to vote.
> I have a question that doesn't feature in the list.


> I can't upload my work.

To upload your images, sign in to www.cansonartschoolawards.com. Click on the "My work" tab. Confirm that you have read the rules, if you haven't already done so. Then you can upload your work by clicking on the red hatched box "5 works compulsory" You can then upload the image files that are already saved on your computer.

Remember: the image file cannot be bigger than 5 MB. The quality of your image must be good enough for us to be able to view it.

The problem may also relate to the configuration of your computer. Start by updating your browsers.

The updates are free and available online.  

If the problem is not resolved, contact us via our Contact form, giving us details of: 
- what you did exactly,
- your operating system, 
- your browser and its version,
- the error message you're seeing, if there is one.

  For Windows

1. Press the screenshot key.
2. Open Microsoft Paint. To do this, click on Start > All programmes > Accessories > Paint.
3. Click on a white area of the screen.
4. Open the Edit menu and click Paste.
5. Click on file > Save as.
6. Choose the JPG format in the dialogue box that appears.
7. Give your image a name, choose where to save it on your computer (like the desktop, for example), then click on Save.
 
 For MAC OS X

1. Press the Command -Shift-3 keys at the same time.
2. Find the screenshot as a .png file on your desktop.
Note that with Mac OS X 10.6, the file is "Screenshot [date] at [time]".
 
 For iPhone

1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top or side of your device.
2. Immediately press and release the Home button.
3. To find your screenshot, go to the Photos app > Albums and tap Camera Roll.


> The image files for my work are too big. 

You don't need high definition to enter the Canson® Art school Awards.

So the first thing to do is to reduce the resolution of your image (72 ppi is enough).

You can compress your photos with software like Photoshop. 

Remember: the image file cannot be bigger than 5 MB. The quality of your image must be good enough for us to be able to view it.

> I can't sign in.

You must enter your user name and password to be able to sign in.

If you've forgotten your password, you can request a new one.

If the problem persists, please contact us via the Contact en  making sure you include your email address. 

> I would like to modify my account and/or the works that I submitted.

Sign in to  www.cansonartschoolawards.com with your email address and password.

You will then have access to your personal information. You can change your password or your subscription to the newsletter.

Use the Contact form to change your email address..

To modify your work, click on the My Work tab. You will have access to the "Edit" feature for each image so you can modify or delete information.

Remember: if your application is approved, you will no longer be able to modify your work. If you have any questions about this, please use the Contact form.

> I want to delete my account.

Sign in to  www.cansonartschoolawards.com with your email address and password. 

Go to the My Personal Space / My Account section and click on the "Delete my Account" button.

> The work that I submitted is not visible on the "Artists in the competition" page.

Every application and every work is subject to moderation. Therefore, your work may not have been moderated yet. If your application should be refused, you will be notified by email.

Our moderation times vary from one to four days. If, after four days, you still can't see your work and you haven't received a refusal email, please contact us via the Contact form.

> I don't know how to vote.

You must have a Facebook account in order to vote. You can vote once for each application that you want to support until the end of the voting period.
Go to the "Artists in the competition" page. Click on the work of the Artist that you want to support. You will find a Facebook "Like" button in the window that opens with all of the artist's entry. Click on it. If the artist is competing in several categories, you can vote for each of them.
Tip: You can find your chosen artist faster by using the search engine and typing in their name or the title of one of their works in the competition.

> I have a question that doesn't feature in the list.
